How does a work of art become a work of art?

Even if it receives the label of a work of art,
Everyone has different tastes in art.

It's just like...
“What is this? What is this?"
And then,
“It's interesting!"
And to make the viewer think, “This is interesting,In other words, the viewer's own new discoveries must be prevented.

In other words, if we do not allow the viewer to make new discoveries In other words, unless the viewer makes new discoveries for himself/herself, the work will be interpreted in the usual way of thinking, and the viewer's brain will not start moving with a bang. In other words, the circuit that recognizes it as art will not be activated.

This is the point I am always conscious of when I create my works.

However, the so-called “artist's sensibility” and “consciousness within the individual” that art has carried in the past I don't want to smoke them out with individualistic and obstructive elements such as “the sensibility of the artist” or “the consciousness within the individual” that the so-called art of the past has carried. I think it is a way of thinking for artists to lean on the excellent art of the past. And fortunately or unfortunately, I have no predecessors to lean on.

Of course, I have in the past, I used such a method and said, “Isn't this what it's all about?” But I had to break through that.

However, it was my experience of studying abroad in the UK that forced me to break through this attitude. I had to break that rule by studying abroad in England, where the language is different, the culture is different, and even the values of daily life are different. I had to tell them, “This is what I am thinking.

The key words I came up with were,
“Be honest with yourself,” “Be honest with yourself,” and “Be honest with yourself, The key word I came up with was “being honest with myself. I had to be honest with myself.

I had to be honest with myself, even if the culture I carried and the experiences I had had were trivial, It is better to pretend to understand, to be tall, and to try your best to look cool, I realized, whether I wanted to or not, that pretending to understand and trying hard to look cool is actually much more unsightly and uncool.

And now, I have chosen the form of an object as a method for creating artworks, I have imposed on myself as the main element of my work, I have imposed on myself as the main element of my work, to express myself by using everyday objects that everyone knows. A train, a fork, a thumbtack, a coffee cup, and so on.

By doing so, there is no escape or hiding, and the brain can only move or not. How much can the viewer jump from the everyday? I believe that is the significance of my work. I believe that this is what the role of art today is all about.

And ideally, understanding is not directly connected to interpretation, In between, a revolution in consciousness occurs, and a new horizon opens up as a point of return. I hope to reach such a point as soon as possible.
